(1) When did you join staff?

I joined the Downline Little Rock staff this past August as the Women’s Coordinator. I accepted this role on the very first day of Downline class and it has been a wonderful whirlwind ever since. I love this staff and working with such a dedicated and motivated team.

(2) What’s new with you since DL graduation?

Since I graduated Downline, I got married to the love of my life, David Connell. He is now going through Downline as part of the 2016-2017 class and we are loving experiencing it together.

(3) What will your main staff roles be?

My role as as Women’s Coordinator has three parts to it. One part is having the privilege of connecting with the Emerging Leader ladies on a deeper level through one-on-one and group hangouts and connecting with the ladies in the Institute. Secondly, I spearhead the marketing efforts for Downline Little Rock, including managing social media, writing the alumni newsletter and engaging in alumni relations. Thirdly, I aid with recruiting for the next year’s Emerging Leader class and overall Downline class. I absolutely love every part of my role at Downline.

(4) What excites you most about working with Downline?

The best part of working with Downline is working with a staff that is authentic, strives for excellence and works as ambassadors for Christ whole-heartedly. I also love getting to intentionally connect with the ladies in EL and DL.

(5) Where are you active in investing in others “as you go?”

Currently my investment in others has been stretched beyond my normal “go to”–which is high school ministry. I have been a youth leader for high schoolers for about 3 years but have chosen to now invest my time in 4th and 5th graders within my church. My husband and I lead a Sunday School class on Sunday mornings with these blooming preteens and we have been loving their eagerness to learn about Bible stories. Having just married two weeks ago, we are open and willing to how the Lord will continue to use us as a new unit to invest in others.
